" Display Menu| Swith Screen Resolution Software on your Mac"

Display Menu is a simple yet incredibly handy little app that just hit the Mac App Store. It allows you to quickly switch display resolutions and change display settings from your Mac’s menu bar — negating the need to navigate the System Preferences options — for free.

Once installed, Display Menu adds a small icon to your Mac’s menu bar that looks like a tiny Thunderbolt Display. When you click on it, you’ll see all the displays connected to your Mac. You can then quickly switch between different resolutions, change refresh rates, toggle mirroring, and toggle HiDPI modes.
What’s great about Display Menu is that it won’t cost your a penny — you can download it from the Mac App Store now for free.

Tinyumbrella newly updated with the support for iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1 iPad mini iPad 4

The popular SHSH blob-saver TinyUmbrella received an update today. Notcom, the developer, added support to the utility for the newly-released iOS 6.0.1 firmware, and both the fourth generation iPad and iPad mini…

Here’s the post from the TU blog:

“I’ve updated TU to support iOS 6 and 6.0.1. The new iPad mini and iPad 4 are also supported as well as the new iphone 4 stealth revision.

  • Sorry for the delay folks. I’m still working on some pretty dang well needed changes to TU. The wait will be worth it…”

It looks like Apple has quit signing iOS 6, so it’s too late to save your blobs for that firmware. But we recommend having SHSH backups for all devices and iOS versions, so make sure to grab your 6.0.1 blobs as well.
